Ever since mom bought me the iPod Touch, I'd hardly use the laptop unless necessary because I can access everything through my iPod, and would only use my laptop to do things that the iPod can't, like updating and Photoshop and etc. Ergo, I've gotten lazier when it comes to using my laptop.
The problem here, however, is that my laptop's acting
bonkers again that I can't do things properly, things like posting
here, for instance, but then again I could do that on the iPod too but I'm more comfortable with blogging here, and am just making some lame excuse to why I haven't been posting much.
For that reason, it's because there's really not much to say anymore. Even if I wanted to, I'd just end up forgetting, or not feel like it. My life's been pretty boring, and I'm not even enjoying school, and it'd probably make my life worse if I wrote an entry about how bad my life is, because it would remind me that I
have to go through this for a few more terms but hey, I could be wrong. Let's just hope it's a passing phase.
In any case, I'll just shut my trap and write about my nineteenth birthday.
For one, it wasn't anything special. It was just another average lazy day for me, except for the endless Facebook notifications with friends posting 'happy birthdays' on my wall as if they were just copy-pasted. I was pretty much in a good mood for the whole day until night time, when I got pretty pissy for a slightly shallow reason and locked myself in the bathroom, refusing to go out for about 20 minutes or so.
Maybe I shouldn't have said that, but I just did..I had hamburger curry rice at Nihonbashitei, that Japanese restaurant we ate in, and I'd say it was fantastic, but its serving was too huge for me to finish eating so I had to take it home, and have it for dinner as well for the next day. ♥
My birthday really wasn't that much of a big deal, and the little things (things like my crushes and semi-crushes and guys who aren't really my crushes and ex-crushes greeting me, HAHA gosh
ang landi at babaw ko lang) just made my day, and I guess that's enough. It could've been worse; could've been better too, but it's great enough for celebrating a birthday when the one celebrating isn't really in the mood.
Belated happy birthday to my dear twin
aki_yasu (yes, we share the same birthday, isn't that awesome?) by the way ♥ I miss you!
Since it was my birthday week anyway, I've made a tentative list of 'Nineteen Things I Want/To Do On My Birthday', in which I've only written twelve and have completely forgotten filling it up because of school, AND out of the twelve things I've listed, I've only done three.
So here they are, anyway. Bolded items are the things that I've accomplished.
1. Attend a gig
on the 16th - I still want to push through with this
2. Get ear piercings
3. Reshave my undercut4. A new set of water color pencils - because I just broke one of my pencils huhu
5. Canson watercolor pad ♥
6. A paintbrush set
7. Babes
8. Have a not-shitty Monday9. A new bag
10. Love, Stargirl in paperback or the Stargirl Journal - because really, I'm a fan, and I'd really prefer the sequel over the first book.
11. Meet any of my high-school friends :( - yes, I did write down that sad smiley
12. A decent cigarette case
I might've been lying with the 8th item, because that day was pretty awful, as are Mondays in general, but it wasn't that bad, plus I skipped my last class (really I should stop skipping classes) so let's just pretend it wasn't 'not-shitty', maybe 'not-so-shitty' is a better way to describe that day.
I did items 3 and 11 on the same day, which was the day before my birthday, also known as the DLSU Centennial Celebration day, and honestly, you wouldn't know how much I've suffered seeing tweets in my timeline containing the #DLSU100 hashtag the night before. Anyway, I met with the
ambiguously gay duo Aaron Tom and Leoniko Cyrel hahaha. I was originally supposed to meet with just Tom, he was asking me out to the DLSU thing and I told him I wasn't going and asked him about how Bench Fix at ATC was because I was going to have a haircut, and then he suddenly decided he wanted to meet with me instead at ATC because he was going to tell me how ~heartbroken~ he is lol and he was going to have a haircut as well. Now aren't we the best of
sisters, having haircuts together? Loljk. As for Leoniko, I informed him that I was meeting with Tom and he told me that he'd try going to ATC after class, and then on the day itself he told me he was already in ATC coz he was killing time during his long break, and in the end he ditched class for me, now isn't that sweet ♥ Hahaha jk it was his decision, anyway.
Despite having to go through their constant teasing (well, we were all teasing each other anyway) I had a great time with those two, I felt really refreshed. I've been so down for the past few days I've been dying to meet with friends, so I was pretty thankful. They'll forever be my OT3 ♥ lol chos.
As for the reshaved undercut, here's a photo:

I'd post how bad it looked before I had it reshaved and a few other photos, but since my laptop's acting up I've decided to post only one to save time. Anyway, I wasn't expecting for my undercut to be shaved to this extent (really, this was much more shaved than the first time!) so I was slightly panicking in the salon because my parents and my yayas (the yayas would be more infuriated, really, hahaha) might scold me for doing so. Haha. And then when I got out of the salon with
the gays there was this group of three who passed by us and Leoniko just had to point out to me that the gay(?) guy gave me weird looks and whispered something to his two companions.. haha!
Nahiya naman din ako =)) which made me realize that I'm so used to this kind of thing, hello just go to the SDA and everyone else has weird hairstyles. Haha!
Anyway, my hair's still great, it's easier to manage than when I first had it cut, probably because I had my fringes cut a bit shorter and that I've just gotten used to this kind of hairstyle on me.
Also, I've made myself a sort-of birthday mix! It's called 'Nineteen' haha, its title track being Tegan and Sara's Nineteen. Basically describes a typical (moody) day of my life lol. I normally don't do these kind of things because whenever I do make a 'mix' I just end up choosing random songs from my iPod (especially since it's on shuffle). It's different with this one coz I gave the songs I've listed a bit of thinking. Haha! And do listen to Hummer by Foals I'm absolutely in love with that song, plus the fact it was used in
Skins Secret Party!! ♥
